ABOUT ME
I’m a second year at LSE studying International Relations. As a trauma survivor, I’m particularly passionate about helping those in recovery by illuminating the healing power of the arts, poetry, and music.
WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU WERE TAUGHT AT SCHOOL ABOUT MENTAL WELLBEING AND WHY?
Healing is not linear; it’s a bumpy process. One setback does not undermine all progress. Celebrate your victories, no matter how small!
ANY ADVICE TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE READING THIS?
Watching a comfort film in bed with a plate of good food! If I’ve got more energy I like to write, cook, call a loved one, or if the weather’s nice, read a book in the sunshine.
